Bonita Quiroz Cantu is a professional with experience and depth, drawing from a wide range of approaches and training from Jungian Analysis, Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Mythological Studies, Human Relations Training, and Psychiatric Nursing. Bonita is more than a highly skilled professional. She is insightful and creative as she approaches each client with sincere caring, telling her truth with heart. As a psychotherapist, coach and workshop presenter, Bonita draws you out with her dynamic, innovative and often humorous style. She creates an atmosphere of trust and ease. A recognized leader in her profession, she has served as President of the Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (AAPPN) and the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Bonita has held positions on numerous political and community boards, such as the Arts Commission. She has been on faculty at the Medical College of Georgia, Southwest Texas College, and has lectured at Seattle University, University of Puget Sound, and the Henry Cogswell College, Digital Arts program. She has also served on the degree committee for Antioch University. She is published in the fields of psychiatric nursing and social psychiatry. Bonita served as a nurse in Japan during the Vietnam War and currently holds the rank of Lt. Col. (Ret) in the US Army Reserves.
